We got creative!

We got creative!

And the mouse came too.

Goodwin Studios is thrilled to announce a change in status. As of January 1, 2019, we will be doing business as Goodwin Creative Limited, and begin a new journey as a limited partnership.

Mother Jude Goodwin and daughter Sky Goodwin have joined forces and are now co-owners of the small design and publishing studio operating out of Squamish BC.

Over the past ten years, Sky has been raising her small son and working part-time from home editing, writing and performing website maintenance for clients. During this time she launched an online magazine, where she acted as Managing Editor for two years.

She’s also a RYT (registered yoga teacher) 250, a meditator, book-lover, avid bike commuter, treehugger, veggie gardener. Her home-base is Vancouver, where she lives with her two sons, husband and a ridiculous number of cats.

Jude has been in the business of graphic design, desktop publishing and web development for many years. She began with her first logo design for a cement company in 1975 and has been publishing websites since 1995. A published cartoonist, editor and writer, Jude brings many skills to every project.

Goodwin Studios was established in Squamish in 2002. Over the years the company became well known as a sponsor for many local sporting events including 10 years as sponsor of the Test of Metal Group of Events. Goodwin Studios has launched over 70 websites, often developing 2nd, 3rd and even 4th incarnations for a single client.

Teaming up to form Goodwin Creative Limited, the two will continue offering the same design, web development and publishing services to the community of Sea to Sky.

“We’re building websites with Squarespace this year,” Goodwin notes. “And we plan to develop our Social Media Management Packages as well. Content creation is the best SEO for 2019.”

And what about that mouse?

The mouse was part of our very first logo in 2002 and came with the slogan ‘All at the click of a mouse’. The logo has changed over the years and in 2013 the mouse disappeared. To start our new company, Goodwin Creative Limited, we decided to bring the mouse back.

Because we still offer desktop publishing, content creation, web development, SEO, web maintenance, and more ….

All at the click of a mouse
