Owner and Bookkeeper Darell Brown wanted a refresh of her existing Squarespace site. We upgraded her to the Squarespace 7.1 platform and gave her design an overhaul, with a focus on streamlining her content and making her design consistent site-wide. We love the little video at the top of her new site, which attracts attention immediately. Colour blocks and lines give the overall design a sense of power and authority and we chose a mono-tone colour scheme to emphasize her services and not distract the visitor.
This website is an excellent example of how the Squarespace platform provides designers with all they need to create unique and customs designs.
Darell’s new site is optimized for mobile, features Squarespace’s new accordion blocks on the FAQ page, and Darell’s excellent bookkeeping podcasts are embedded in her blog. Darell feels comfortable working on her own maintenance and was happily updating text and changing photos around within a week of her launch.
Darell also purchased our Search Engine Optimization top-up which included a comparison of her site with other local competitors, an examination of her keywords and phrases, and hookups to google products such as Web Console and Google Analytics.
