The Maintenance Club Retainer
$99 every month
2 hours per month
SERVICES
Up to 4 blog posts or pages per month.
Blog Posts
You send me your content and photos, I make sure it’s posted to your blog and optimised.
New Pages
Informational page creation and updates.
Page Updates
You send me any updates for your galleries and/or pages and I’ll properly tag the images and upload them to your website.
Technical Oversight
I will audit your website monthly to be sure everything is working properly. If there are any issues I will connect with you to discuss.
General Maintenance
It’s a little like having your WebMistress on staff!
I will use leftover time to travel your website, run it through my Squarespace Optimizer, double-check keywords, image tags, and presentation as well as page speeds. If anything needs attention, I’ll let you know.
Shop Management Retainer
$149 every month
Have a Squarespace shop but need someone to run it? Put me on retainer. I’ll manage your shop and product updates and keep an eye on your operation.

Product Updates
You send us your new products and we’ll list them in your shop. Also send new images for products, new price lists and I’ll update them for you.
Page Updates
Need a new splash area for a featured product? We’ll also consult on the best way to market your shop items site-wide.
Squarespace Updates to Commerce
Squarespace is always updating it’s offerings. We’ll implement these as they come out.
Store Oversight
Once I get an idea of your system and how in runs, I’ll keep an eye on everything and make sure all is running smoothly.

I can do a lot of good work in 2 hours! I’m pretty easy-going but, if your requests add up to significantly more time, I will contact you to discuss arrangements for that month. Any extra hours will be billed at my hourly rate, or at a flat rate in the case of Top-Ups or marketing materials.

X MAINTENANCE DOES NOT INCLUDE
The Club will help you maintain your website and/or shop as is and provide technical support. It doesn’t include upgrading your site or its systems or creating solutions to new problems.
I love doing all that however! I’m happy to get any of the following done for you at my hourly rate. Just ask! Club members get 10% off all services.

Liaising with 3rd parties

Here’s the fine print.
TERMS
By subscribing to a retainer, you agree to the following memorandum of understanding and terms:
The retainer gets you up to two hours per month of shop updates and/or maintenance, consult and troubleshooting. You retain Goodwin Creative to be available for your requests in a timely manner, with priority, on a first-come-first-served basis. If you do not have any requests in a particular month, hours do not get carried over to the next month. In my experience, some months clients need a lot of work, some months they need none. In other words, you are not paying an hourly rate for tasks done. You are paying a monthly subscription fee for priority and my expertise.
Maintenance tasks are done on Tuesdays. Requests are answered first-come-first-serve. If I cannot got your tasks done in a week I will let you know (this is very unlikely however).
If the work involved exceeds your two hours then I will consult with you. Any further work will be billed at my hourly rate of $65/hr.
I reserve the right to update prices at any time. I will give you three months notice if any changes occur.
I reserve the right to cancel our agreement if need be, at the next renewal date. I will give you sufficient notice.
PAYMENT
The Maintenance Club and Shop Management retainers are paid every 3 months via EFT t0 admin@goodwincreative.ca
I will send you out an invoice for your initial payment and your renewals and a receipt upon receipt of payment. These terms will also be listed in your initial invoice. Payment is considered acceptance of these terms.
If payment is late, all work must pause until we’re caught up.
COMMUNICATION
I have a dedicated inbox for maintenance requests. Requests are answered first-come-first-serve.
We’ll also have a dedicated Discord channel just for your project and a shared Google folder, if needed.
URGENT?
If your changes are urgent and need to be done quickly, you can insert the word URGENT in the subject line of your request and send it to my dedicated maintenance email.
HOURS

Discord hours: Monday to Friday 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm
CANCELLATION
Cancel anytime by sending me an email to the maintenance channel. There are no refunds.
A cancelled account will be subject to a 3 month waiting period, prior to being able to re-subscribe.
MY PROMISE
If I think that you are not actually in need of a regular maintenance subscription - if the requests are few and far between - I will recommend discontinuing and connecting for maintenance at my hourly rate when you need it, to save you money.
