What’s On! Queer BC, Community Calendar
What’s On! Queer BC is an online magazine and events calendar listing queer news and events happening in the BC Lower Mainland. These include events by and for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Two-spirit and Intersex communities in Metro Vancouver, The Sea to Sky and Fraser Valley.
What’s On Queer BC began in 2014 as a page on What’s On Sea to Sky (What’s On Squamish). When Goodwin Studios sold the What’s On Sea to Sky franchise to Craig Davidiuk, we kept What’s On Queer BC and began to develop it as a stand-alone site.The site includes four key features: A calendar of events, a newsmagazine, a resource for the LGBTQ+ community and the ‘Rainbow Store’ (who doesn’t like rainbows?).
What’s On Queer BC uses the time.ly calendar widget embedded on a Squarespace site.
